 Bacon, Quick Bacon, Salami, and Beef Jerky.

Quick Bacon: is made from Pork Belly. The meat is rubbed with herbs and spices and marinated for 4 hours or overnight if you prefer it with a stronger taste. Then you fry it up in a pan or on the BBQ. This tastes absolutely sensational and is easy to make and without any preservatives. Beef Jerky: is made from lean Beef which has been trimmed of all fat and cut into rather thin strips. After that, the Beef is marinated in herbs and spices to give it it’s flavor. Then it is dried completely. The taste is awesome if you can wait for it. This is very easy to make and without any preservatives. Salami: is made from Pork mince, with a generous amount of fat added to it. We mix it with all the herbs and spices to give it, its flavour and let it wait a short time before putting it into casings. Then we hang it up and let it dry in a suitable cool place until ready. Bacon: is made from Pork Belly. The meat is rubbed with herbs and spices and marinated, then rinsed and cold smoked. You can do it on your BBQ if you have one with a cover. In this workshop, you will learn how to make Bacon, Quick Bacon, Salami, and Beef Jerky.
We will teach you from the beginning everything you need to know to be able to make these great products.

That includes:

  • What meat to use
  • How to prepare the meat
  • What spices to use
  • The few tools you need
  • How to store your product, etc.

This is a “Hands-on” workshop where the teacher shows you step by step how to make all your products and allows you to do it yourself. We have over 15 years experience of teaching people to make various sorts of cheese, cured meat, and sausages. You will be shown everything from the beginning and can ask any question you want.

At the end of the workshop, the teacher will answer all your questions and go once more through every aspect of making your products and you get to take home a step-by-step booklet on how to make all the products. You also get to take home all the products you have made in the workshop.
